Spoono Host houses its servers in a state of the art, 78,500 sq. ft. datacenter in Dallas, TX. Redundant power and multiple bandwidth providers ensure top quality, high availability servers. Spoono Host clients are hosted on 3.2Ghz or faster Intel Pentium 4 servers.
Precision-controlled raised floor air conditioning systems protect and cool mission-critical servers and equipment in the Network Operations Center. The facility is controlled by dual 26-Ton APC™/Airflow™ triple-compresser redundant systems. These systems provide a virtually dust-free and particle-free computing environment, with temperature, humidity, and air-quality regulation.
Our Network Operations Center currently has 3-Phase power currently available from TXU Electric. The facility is currently backed up and protected by 500KVA Powerware UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems, which feed PDI™ & Liebert™ PDU (Power Distribution Unit) systems. In a very rare case of utility outage, our Cummins™ 250KW deisel generator starts automatically, taking over for the UPS systems and supplying all necessary power for the facility. The generator interfaces to the power grid thru an Asco™ 7000 automatic transfer panel. The generator is powered by a 2200 gallon fuel tank, capable of running without refueling for approximately 350 hours.
The network only utilizes brand name, top quality hardware. The network is centered on a Cisco 6500 series distribution routing switches using Juniper M20 border routers. VLANs are used for extra stability and security, and private LANs are also available for customers with multiple servers.
Currently, the network is connected via Gigabit and OC48 fiber from SBC and TimeWarner.
